Book

Demo document — not legal advice. Texas's rules on physician delegation to non-physician practitioners (Texas Occupations Code Chapter 157; 22 Texas Administrative Code Chapter 193, standing delegation orders) are specific about scope, required written protocols, and supervision ratios. This template describes the general shape of that framework. Before real use, the clinic's supervising physician and attorney must confirm actual delegation agreements, protocols, and provider licensure match what's stated here — do not publish a specific physician's name or license number without their sign-off.

Safety & Prescribing

Demo build. Linden Aesthetic Medicine is a fictional practice, not affiliated with any real clinic. Prices and reviews are illustrative.

Most med spa websites treat this as boilerplate. We don't, because it's the question that actually matters before you let anyone treat your face: who is deciding this is right for you, and who is accountable if something goes wrong?

Who prescribes

Neuromodulators (like Botox) and prescription-grade skincare are prescription medications. In our practice, prescribing decisions are made or authorized by our supervising physician, based on a documented medical history and an in-person, good-faith examination — not a form you fill out online. This is true for every new patient and is re-evaluated at appropriate intervals for returning patients.

The good-faith exam requirement

Texas law does not allow prescription treatment based on an online questionnaire alone. Before any prescription treatment, you'll have an in-person evaluation covering your medical history, current medications, allergies, and the specific area you want treated. If a treatment isn't appropriate for you — because of a medical contraindication, an unrealistic expectation, or simply because a different treatment would serve you better — we'll tell you that in the consult, not after you've paid.

Physician supervision of non-physician injectors

Many of the providers performing injectable treatments at med spas nationally are registered nurses, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants rather than physicians. That's common and, done correctly, safe — but it depends entirely on real supervision. At our practice:

Questions about a provider's credentials or our protocols

We'd rather you ask before your appointment than wonder during it.
